🌐 Utility & Internet Setup Options for Furnished Apartments

🔹  Basic Policy

Tenants are generally responsible for signing individual contracts for the following utilities:

  • Water
  • Electricity
  • Gas
  • Internet

🔹 If You Prefer Support

If you find it difficult or troublesome to sign these contracts by yourself (especially in Japanese), XROSS HOUSE offers the following optional support plans:

1. Lifeline Inclusive Plan

XROSS HOUSE signs the water, electricity, and gas contracts on your behalf.

  • Fixed monthly fee: ¥15,000 (tax-exempt)
  • We handle contract sign-up and cancellation procedures
  • We attend on-site for gas inspections and activation
  • If your actual monthly utility usage exceeds ¥15,000, you will be responsible for the difference (e.g., if usage is ¥20,000, you will be charged an additional ¥5,000)
  • Internet service is not included and must be arranged separately

2. Utility Support Service

This plan is designed for customers living overseas or those requiring foreign language assistance.

  • The agency handles contracts for water, electricity, gas, and internet
  • One-time agency fee: ¥5,500 (tax included)
  • No refunds are given if move-in or transfer is cancelled
  • Monthly utility fees must be paid directly to each utility provider
